Ocular toxicity of ADCs — molecule fact sheets

Target expressed in ocular tissues Target not found in ocular tissues

The eye marker places the antigen within the healthy eye. Red: expressed in the cornea itself — epithelium, limbus, stroma or endothelium; an on-target component is possible, compartment depth does not rule it out. Amber: expressed outside the cornea only — conjunctiva, lacrimal apparatus, uvea. Green: looked for and not found; toxicity there is necessarily off-target. Grey: never looked for on cornea or conjunctiva — absence of data, not absence of expression. The label that follows gives the level of evidence: human staining, cell-lineage inference, or animal data. Each sheet also carries a three-level evidence note with its reference: human expression — shown in human ocular tissue; animal expression only — shown in animals and not transposed to humans; no expression found — antigen never stained in the human eye, or looked for and absent. Expression is necessary but not sufficient: the ADC must also reach the compartment. Revised 23 August 2026.
